Give Back this Holiday Season with Essex Homes

From November 25 to January 31, Essex Homes will be collecting blankets, mittens/gloves, hats, and new socks to spread the comfort and warmth to the less fortunate this holiday season.

If you would like to donate please drop off these items to any Essex Homes office location or Essex Homes sales center during model hours.

Please refer to our website for model hours closest to you and office locations.

During the months of November and December we always think of the things we are most thankful for. Things like your warm bed at night, family, friends, and your job are all things we may take for granted throughout the year. Throughout the holidays it is also most importantly a time for giving. This holiday season Essex Homes wants you to help out in your community if you can for those less fortunate. We are wanting to cover our communities with love and warmth this time of year. Throughout the Carolinas in 2018, there were 13,000 people that experienced homelessness and need our help. Below are some other ideas how you along with your family and friends can help out this Holiday season to donate and better your community.

Blanketing Families Inc.

If you are in the Kershaw County area Blanketing Families, Inc. is a great way to donate this holiday season. They will be at the Kershaw County Headstart Thursday December 12th at 9:30am. To make this all possible they are looking for items such as pajamas, socks, gift cards for food and age-appropriate books. If you are unable to make this event they are in Finley Park in downtown Columbia every Wednesday. You can donate lightly used items such as blankets, clothing and shoes along with bottled water and any unopened toiletries.
