Join us at the 13th Annual Lake Carolina Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24. Mark your calendars to spend the afternoon sampling fine wines and delicious hors d’oeurves at the beautiful Lake House at Lake Carolina.
At the festival, attendees can enjoy wine samples from Sam’s Fine Wine and Spirits, which includes more than 20 wine samples from areas all around the world. In addition to the wine tasting, there will be food tastings available with tasty samples from The Crescent Olive, Trader Joe’s and Spotted Salamander. Pair The Crescent Olive’s olive oils and freshly baked bread or Trader Joe’s spreads and cheeses with the wines for a delectable combination. Local chefs will provide live food demonstrations and the opportunity to taste what they prepare. The local Craft and Draft company will also offer beer samples to festival-goers.
The Lake Carolina Wine and Food Festival benefits the Children’s Charities of the Midlands, an organization that has used the proceeds to donate a total of more than $75,000 to local charities like the Palmetto Children’s Hospital. For only $35, you can enjoy live music from the East Coast band The Coteries while sipping wine and enjoying the lovely lake view, as well as supporting a good cause.
