Essex Homes to be Featured in 2015 BIA of Central South Carolina Tour of Homes

new model home at Kelsney Ridge in Elgin, SCEssex Homes, a new home builder that offers homeowners the “Key to Better Living” in metropolitan Columbia, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina areas, is pleased to announce its participation in the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Central South Carolina’s 2015 Tour of Homes. The tour, Columbia’s largest open house of new homes for sale, will be held June 6 and 7, 13 and 14 and 20 and 21 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1 until 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The annual scattered-site showing is free and open to the public, and interested home buyers will have five featured communities and 41 new homes to browse built by 17 of the top new home builders in the area. The eight featured homes from Essex Homes include those in the following communities:

  • Abney Hills Estates, Blythewood
  • Allan’s Mill, Columbia
  • Hunter’s Run, Blythewood
  • Kelsney Ridge, Elgin
  • Larkin Woods, Lexington
  • Manchester Park, Lexington
  • Manors at White Knoll, Lexington
  • Preserve at Rolling Creek, Irmo

In addition to the tour, homes will be voted upon by the people through an online ballot found at www.free-times.com. Last year, Essex Homes received Best Overall in the $300,000-400,000 price range for its Katherine home plan in The Oaks at Summer Lake in Lexington and Honorable Mention for the Katherine plan at Turner’s Pointe in Lexington in the $600,000-700,000 category.
