Essex Homes Puts Down Roots on the North Carolina Coast

beach club-webSomewhere there’s a beach chair with your name on it, and Essex Homes is making it a reality…and not just for vacation.

Essex Homes is moving to the North Carolina coast into Brunswick County, North Carolina, the 2nd fastest growing county in the state. Tucked away in the southeast corner of  NC, Brunswick County offers its residents the best of location, lifestyle, and leisure. Conveniently located between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, the beautiful beaches, quaint towns, and mild climate makes the area one of the most desirable retirement and relocation destinations in the Southeast. And despite the growth that is happening, Brunswick County’s beaches and mainland communities continue to maintain their friendly, small town character.

Head south to Myrtle Beach and immerse yourself in the shopping, family entertainment, restaurants, and nightlife the city has to offer. Or travel north and visit the historic river town of Wilmington where you can explore historic homes, the downtown riverfront, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants, museums, and entertainment venues.

Brunswick County measures only 855 square miles, but don’t think there isn’t enough to do. Along with the countless waterways, 50 miles of tranquil shoreline, and golf courses, the county’s towns are rich in history. Calabash, Southport, Shallotte, and Leland are the four major towns of Brunswick County – each with unique stories, history and activities. The Atlantic ICW (Intracoastal Waterway) meanders through the county embracing boaters through the areas barrier islands – Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach and Oak Island.

Essex Homes is offering three very distinctive, gated coastal communities — Brick Landing, Winding River Plantation, and St. James Plantation.
