Essex Homes is excited to be an exhibitor at the 2015 Lexington Wine Walk in Lexington, South Carolina. The Lexington Wine Walk benefits the Lexington Beautification Foundation, which is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to the pursuit of beautifying the scenic and historic community of Lexington; as well as stimulating civic pride and teamwork. The event will take place at the 100 block of East Main Street in Lexington on Saturday, May 9 with doors opening at 5:45 p.m.
The Lexington Wine Walk will include exhibitors, Main Street merchants and restaurants serving wine and hors d’oeuvres. Some of the exhibitors include PK BBQ, Dupre Catering & Events, Arkos Mojo Grill & Martini Bar, as well as health services, like Bee Healthy Medical Weight Loss & Wellness and Carolina Hormone and Health Center; home maintenance and related services, like Clark’s Termite & Pest Control, Southern Siding and Window Company and more.
For $30 a person, the ticket price includes a complimentary wine glass, hors d’oeuvres, wine tastings and live music. Tickets may be purchased online here, or at Palmetto Wine & Spirits at 109 Old Chaplin Road.
Essex Homes will be paired with a restaurant to help distribute wine and food at the event. The purpose of the Lexington Beautification Foundation is to promote public interest in the improvement and beautification of the environment of Lexington and to generate grass-roots involvement and a sense of pride throughout Lexington, a mission that Essex Homes is proud to support.
Current and past projects of the Foundation include: the beautification of Lexington Square and a Memorial Fountain at the Lexington Court House, Phase II of Lexington Square, and two sponsored gardens at the new Lexington County Chamber of Commerce Building. Potential future Foundation projects include: New Town of Lexington signs, Planters on Main Street, and sponsorship of the upcoming Town of Lexington Amphitheater.
