Essex Homes is participating in this year’s 49th Annual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show from March 13 to 15 in Columbia. The focal point of the Essex Homes exhibit is a “house” that demonstrates the eBuilt technology that is built into every Essex home.
Mike Cancilla, Columbia division manager with Essex Homes, states, “Our three-walled ‘home’ highlights many eBuilt technology components including a tankless water heater, blower door, window display, insulation and advanced framing techniques. Seeing a tangible example of these products helps potential buyers to visualize the energy efficiency that is included in each of Essex’s new homes.” A tabletop display shows the value of radiant barrier sheathing and how it improves the home’s overall temperature.
Essex’s eBuilt homes are designed to accomplish three specific goals:
- Reduce the home’s energy consumption.
- Reduce environmental impact during and after construction.
- Help homeowners save money on utility bills.
